There is a limit of eighteen (18) participants per standard/open workshop and twelve (12) per laparoscopic workshop, ensuring each participant receives maximum benefit from the practical and discussion components. The facilitator/participant ratio is 1:1-2 in all workshops.
The Anatomy of Complications Workshops are primarily aimed at consultants. Registrars need to be at least level 4 in the FRANZCOG Core Training Program to attend.
The workshops have been approved as ‘RANZCOG Approved O&G Workshops (Clinical Expertise domain)’ and eligible Fellows of the College can claim 14 CPD points for each full workshop they attend. Further details can be obtained from the RANZCOG Continuing Education Co-ordinator, firstname.lastname@example.org.
The fees are as follows:
- Standard Workshop: $AUD 3575 (inc. GST)
- Laparoscopic Workshop: $AUD 3740 (inc. GST)
Fees include: applicable taxes (GST), registration, workshop attendance, refreshments, and the workshop dinner.
N.B. Places on these workshops are limited which means the fees only just cover the considerable running costs. It is very difficult to find replacements given the need for most attendees to take annual leave. For these reasons the registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable. (You may wish to take out travel insurance so that you are covered if your plans change and you are no longer able to attend).
