1. The Anatomy of Complications Workshop places are limited meaning the fees only just cover the considerable running costs. It is very difficult to find replacements at short notice given the need for most attendees to apply for, and take annual leave. If a registrant cancels, their money is refunded and no replacement is found, the workshop will run at a loss. For this reason the registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

2. The Anatomy of Complications Workshop entity (ACW) is dependent on our venue partners for both the supply of suitable cadavers and qualified veterinary personnel to facilitate the live sheep surgery. If for any reason they are unable to provide these items and/or services a workshop may be cancelled at late notice.

i) In the unlikely event that a workshop is cancelled by ACW, ACW is not liable for reimbursing airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by the registrant. Due to circumstances beyond the control of the workshop organisers, a workshop may be cancelled by the organisers up to 1 week prior to workshop commencement. In this event candidates will be issued a full refund of their workshop registration fee.

ii) ACW recommend that registrants travelling to attend a workshop take out travel insurance (including Event Cancellation cover) so that they may claim registration, airfare, hotel or other costs incurred if they are no longer able to attend, or the workshop is cancelled, for any reason.
